Are singles discriminated against for not being married? No kids as well?

I'm single - not sure if I want kids - but I think family is very important and statistics show that those children from married homes are far less likely to become involved in crime. In fact, statistically Black children are more likely to become in crime but when you remove those from broken families, the statistics for Blacks and Whites are exactly the same. So the theory that Blacks are more likely to commit crime is WRONG, it's those from broken families, which sadly happen to be mostly Black (even Obama said this). So I think marriage should be promoted and encouraged, it brings stability and forms the bedrock of society.
