Why didnt my teacher explain this?

We were learning about phrasal verbs. My friend asked my english teacher what ''go down'' meant because she heard this one in a song named ''right round'' my flo rida. He smiled and told us that he couldnt explain that word. I could feel that it wasnt a good word. I checked it on wiki but it didnt help me much.
