Did the first debate kill McCain's candidacy?
Believe it or not, lots of Americans still hadn't seen or heard Barack Obama before the first debate. They'd heard the interent rumors: muslim terrorist, black activist, whitey hater. But they'd really never seen or heard the real Obama. They were expecting Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. They were expecting a black man. Then they tuned in to the first debate and saw that the real Barack Obama is about as black as Santa Claus. And that, my friends, is what killed the McCain candidacy. Barack Obama is a smart, friendly, articulate, driven man. He's not Louis Farrakahn. And now everyone knows it. Look at what has happened to McCain's poll numbers since the first debate. It's pretty obvious...
