Why are so many anti-abortion people also against condoms, education, etc?

The simple answer is that they don't want to prevent pregnancy...they want married women to return to being clown cars for babies, which they regard as woman's "natural" function, and they want pregnancy to return to being a kind of scarlet letter for unmarried women - to have the fear of an "out-of-wedlock" pregnancy curtail unmarried women's lives.
