whenever i'm at a social function...it's like there's this wall...sometimes at parties and stuff i can be "on" for like 15 minutes at the start...but then i fizzle out like instantly...and it's like i can't look at anyone in the face, laugh or smile. First, don't ever rub an animals nose in something... They won't get it. You will just have a kitten who's face smells like pee. Second, can she get off the bed. I have a 9 week old kitten and we built him a ramp. REALLY HELPS!!! When you catch your kitten going pee then say no firmly put her in the cat box. If she does the rest in the cat box then praise her, if not put her in the kennel for 3 mins. She is still young and i bet in another week or two she will that the cat box thing down. Good luck!

Did I start kick-boxing too fast?

I'm 205 lbs. 5'1. Yes I know it's awful, but I got to this weight by listening to other people tell me how fat I was when I was 115 lbs, I started making myself vomit and then started using food as comfort. Anyway I am on a healthy diet-not a fad, but an actual life long diet- vegetarian -with fish occasionally. Eitherway I started kickboxing and my knees are in horrible pain and I mean I recovered from all the soreness from the first few practices, but because of my weight kickboxing is a million times harder. So I'm wondering should I lose weight like -20 lbs using the elliptical machine(low impact) and then go for a high impact like kick-boxing? My knees are giving out sometimes during the hour and half kickboxing cl, but when I do the elliptical machine I feel so much better and I lose more weight and my knees don't hurt. I'm doing it for me and my husband he deserves to have a woman that takes care of herself and I deserve to be healthy.

Hypnotizing myself-is this is a good or bad idea?

I have a big swim meet tomorrow and on Saturday, and there is a cut time I'm trying to get. I have been practicing really well and feeling great about myself in practice, but for some reason when it comes to meets I begin to doubt myself and feel negative. I've been listening to this hypnosis visualization tape to try and help with that, and it seems to work for practice but, I want to be extra sure for this meet, so a friend suggested that I put the tape on repeat and play it while I sleep, quiet enough for me to be able to fall asleep, but loud enough just so that my subconscious takes it in while I'm sleeping. I had doubts about this because at the end of the tape, the man narrating it tries to take you out of the relaxed state your in, and seeing as the tape is only 15 minutes long, I'm worried that if I put it on repeat all night I'll wake up every 15 minutes, but if I'm deeply sleeping, that shouldn't happen. Do you think my friends' suggestion is a good idea? And if not, what should I do to mentally prepare myself and be confident for my races?

So my friend has this current 'obsession' with sanitising herself EVERYTIME SHE SNEEZES AND COUGH. And she totally FLIPPED OUT when she lost her sanitiser a few days back. Friday I did some researching after my fiance' urge me to check and see. I thought the ex was extradited back to California for back child-support and I found out on my own it was for Laud conduct with a child and possession of a control substance. My first reaction when I found out the ual charge was to keep our kids away from him. He's been in their lives all their lives and I never had any suspicion that he could do this. He hates child molesters. Part of me wants to believe it's a misunderstanding. I have heard of where ex's get mad and make false allegations or the kid gets mad. But he had 12-13 years to tell me, especially when we got a marriage license, that would of been the perfect time to tell me. I don't care what his excuse is he had to of known and he should of told me. This makes him look guilty in my eyes and others. I even asked him if child-support was the reason he was there and he chose not to be honest with me. I am upset that he didn't tell me. This is far worse than any lie I have told him. The rental office might use this for grounds to take him off the least. I hate to do it to my kids but I really don't want him around them anymore because I won't know what the real truth is and I am not willing to take a chance. I thought about supervise visitation if he gets out and makes it back to the east coast. I am so confuse now and hurt. Please tell me what you might do in this situation. I hope I gave enough details.

Do I need to dig the rocks out of the soil? And should I use new soil?

There is a plot behind my apartment, and as I dig it just gets rockier. There are large ones and also small ones that are getting compacted with the soil the deeper I go. I have to dig deep for one of my tomato plants b/c the instructions say to bury 80% of the plant and it is already a foot tall (Roma). I also have a Better Boy Tomato plant but it is much shorter so I do not have to dig as deep. The other two plants I got are Cantaloupe and Orange Sweet Bell Pepper. My area has shale as the bedrock and I am seeing lots of fragments in the soil, as well as smooth river rocks in varying sizes (from huge to pebble) which a past tenant must've used as their choice in landscaping. I live in Northeast PA. The plants are the type that you stick them in the ground along with their biodegradable pot (so the soil they are currently in goes along with them). So do I need to be very thorough in removing rocks/pebbles? And should I use new soil when burying the pot instead of the pebbly stuff?

I've been to Thailand several times and have never had my middle name on my ticket even though it's on my pport, and I've never had any problems. "Depending on customs at the airport" pretty much means you might get a customs officer looking to supplement his income - you can pay your way out. You tried so hard, and for reasons BEYOND YOUR CONTROL(that is key), it didn't work out. Please don't be so hard on yourself, sweetie. There are so many other ways you can bond with and take care of your baby, and he certainly won't remember how he was fed the first year of his life. I can relate, though. With my daughter, I nursed really well for 2 months, and then she developed GERD and nursing became too hard on both of us. I felt so sad, like I wasn't doing all I could. With my son, I nursed for 3 months, and it was great. Then suddenly my milk slowed down, and he refused to nurse, which decreased it even more. He was too hungry for what I could give him. I tried pumping after every feeding, fenugreek, warm compresses, everything. Nothing worked. I felt really sad, but not as sad as I was with my daughter. I guess I was more prepared for it not working out since I had already been through it with her. It was worse with him in a way because this time it was MY problem. He was a great nurser. He is 8 months now, and I've gotte over the sadness. We both adjusted to bottles well, and he has thrived. He's 22 lbs! I actually found that it was easier to make eye contact with bottlefeeding, and it has other benefits too. I can bottle feed anywhere, whereas with nursing I'd have to go hide. Bottle feeding takes less time, and I always know how much he gets. You just need to look on the bright side, and realize that you're a great mom, no matter how you feed your baby.

You basically have the right idea with what you eat and exercising. My only concern is that you are not eating enough. Try adding some healthy fats into the diet like nuts, seeds as well as more healthy grains. Are you a vegetarian? I'd say you are doing good except eat more and add variety.

Filter media question, will choose best answer?

Ok, I have a tetra whisper EX45 filter that has bio, mechanical, and chemical filtration. Will changing the filter cartridge out (filter bag with carbon in it) take out to much of the good bacteria or will there be enough on the bio filtration portion of the filter (it is a plastic cartridge with little brush like projections for bacteria to live on, this never gets changed). Im just worried that im gonna end up going through another cycle if I change the carbon and bag because its got some bacteria on it. Also, can you used different media in these filters? Like make your own cartridge with a sponge or anything? I don't really feel I need the carbon and a sponge wouldn't need changing all the time? I tried to find info on this on the net but got nothing. Any help would be great! I will choose the best answer (and thumbs down any jerks so if you don't have a relevant answer stay away).
